   After a near four-year absence, multiple Grammy and JUNO Award winning pianist/vocalist Diana Krall returns to Toronto for two nights, when she brings her "Glad Rag Doll Tour" to the Massey Hall stage. Celebrating her 11th studio album Glad Rag Doll, released this week on Verve Records, Krall will perform selections from her highly acclaimed catalogue and introduce some of her incredible and distinctive new takes on the past century's most memorable songs.
  With Glad Rag Doll , Krall inspired by her father's old 78rpm record collection, turned to renowned collaborator and producer T-Bone Burnett to bring these great gems back to life.

The Bad Plus

   On the heels of their recently released album Made Possible, The Bad Plus has spent more than a decade redefining what a piano-bass-drums trio can and should be. Bassist Reid Anderson, pianist Ethan Iverson and drummer David King make up this powerhouse collective, and together they have broken down the walls of jazz convention and created an uncompromising body of work, composed of original music and deconstructions of pop, rock, country and classical pieces.
