Jupiter for five

Ballo, adapted from the dance Jupiter by Domenico, using the same music.
For four men and one woman.
Start:  Man 1 in front, Woman behind him, Man 2 behind her, Man 3 to her left and Man 4 to her right, all facing up the hall.

Section I (3 bars in 4/4 and 2 bars in 6/4, all played twice)
3 Saltarelli Tedesci Left, Right, Left.
Volta del Gioioso.
Repeat. Man 1 and Woman end by switching weight to left foot.

Section II - Half Heys (5 bars in 6/4, played twice)
Man 1, Woman and Man 2 do a half hey, with Doppio Right, Doppio Left, Doppio Right, Man 1 and Woman starting by passing right.
(Now Man 2 is in front, Woman still in the middle, and Man 1 is behind her, everyone facing up the hall.)
Sempio Left, Sempio Right, Doppio Left.
Repeat, but the half hey is done with Man 3, Woman and Man 4, with Man 3 and Woman starting.
(Man 2 is in front, Woman in the middle, Man 1 behind her, Man 4 to her left, Man 3 to her right, everyone facing up the hall.)

Section III - Piva Hey (3 bars in 6/8, played 3 times)
Everyone does 9 pive, starting on the right foot. Man 2, Woman and Man 1 are doing the same as in the original dance, with the front person taking 3 pive to weave to the bottom as the other two move straight forward. Meanwhile Man 4 and Man 3 are cutting through the hey, doing a clockwise half circle for each 3 pive. For the first change Man 4 (starting on the left) should wait until Woman has passed up far enough that he can pass behind her, while Man 3 should instead pass in front of Man 1 (who started at the back). Does this make sense? Is it what we worked out? I think so ...
End with Man 2 in front, Woman middle, Man 1 at the back, Man 3 is now on the left again, Man 4 on the right

Section IIII (4 bars in 6/8 and 2 bars in 6/4, played twice)
2 bars of saltarello, all moving forward
2 bars of Saltarello, woman staying still, men orbiting her clockwise half way around the circle
Woman Volta del Gioioso
Repeat
Again Man 2 is in front, Woman middle, Man 1 at the back, Man 3 on the left, Man 4 on the right

The Forse Che Si recording that we are using in class repeats the dance before the last section, which is only played once, at the end. The instructions that follow are for that.
Repeating the dance up to here will leave everyone in their starting position, with Man 1 in front, Woman middle, Man 1 in back, Man 3 on the left, Man 4 on the right

      Section V (2 bars in 6/4)
Man 1 and Man 3 turn to face the Woman, who takes one hand each with them, and all 3 do a reverenza.
Woman turns and takes hands with Man 2 and Man 4, and all 3 do a reverenza.
