The dance follows a relatively regular pattern, consisting of 4 sections that alternate by beginning with either two continenze or two riprese. Each section then continues with two sempii, one or more doppii, and then a small number of other steps.

Recordings

La cour du Roi Rene - No introduction. The phrasing of the music and the dance do not match, as the music is in 4 bar phrases. Use this recording in class sometimes.

Forse Che Si, Forse Che No - Short introduction - start with the horn. Use this recording in class most often.

SCA Dance Musicke Vol II - Has a 2 bar drum intro, with "One - three four five six" for each bar. Have to drop the initial 2 Continenze to fit the music. Does dance twice. Last Reverence is done to a single drum beat at end.
