"Canadian"

You say you are proud to be a Canadian,
But do you know the reasons why?
Do you understand what it means to stand beneath
A maple leaf flag blowing in the sky?

If the answers to these questions
Are something that you seek,
You must first understand
What makes Canadians so unique.

Canadians are people with much hospitality
Always generous and caring and super friendly.
We are a peace loving nation
And our citizens are free.

We are a proud people
With a strong sense of unity.
Our country is quite beautiful,
With great lakes and many a tall tree.

And within the winter months snow blankets
The Land as far as you can see.
A list of all the cultures found here,
Would be quite a long length.

But I believe that this diversity
Has become our greatest strength.
Canada has all these qualities,
And it can proudly say;

"Landscape, atmosphere and cultures
Make up the Canadian way!"
