Neil McNeil Yearbook '97

On the evening of April the 3rd of '96, students from Neil McNeil Music Program combined their talents with those of Notre Dame. Along with the efforts of both Metro Toronto Police (Intelligence Services) and Metro Hall, the public gathered to celebrate the many positive youth initiatives made by today's youth. Mr. Paola's song "Love is..." was selected the theme for this occasion and Colin Oldman touched everyone with his reflections on what it means to be "Cool" and just what it takes to make someone "aficionado" that is to say "enthusiastic"!

On Saturday, June 8th, Philip Hornung and Surinderpal Mundra both gave outstanding performances at the First Annual "Significant Music" piano competition held at Paramount's Canada's Wonderland. Philip had 1st place and 2nd place showing with Surinderpal winning in one category and providing a 3rd place to finish in another. Congratulations to all participants.
