The TD Toronto Jazz Festival
This year the TD Toronto Jazz Festival has expanded it's footprint for the ten day festival with over 60 stages in the GTA including the mainstage at Nathan Phillips Square, Sony Centre, and two in The
Distillery District. Kick start your summer on a jazzy note as the TD Canada Trust Toronto Jazz Festival takes over the city. Celebrating music in all its forms, the festival presents more than 350 concerts
over ten days with 1500 musicians performing at locations all across Toronto including artists such as Janelle Monae, Natalie Cole, The Bad Plus, Ziggy Marley, Bettye LaVette, George Benson, Tower of Power, Roy
Hargrove, Peter Applyard, Joan Osbourne, Tedeschi Trucks Band, and many more. For more details,

starts at Woodbine Park across from Ashbridges Bay for July 20-22, where multiple outdoor stages feature free concerts. In addition to the "Woodbine Park Main Stage", the "New Generation" and
"Youth" stages celebrate young upcoming musicians that are having an impact on the jazz and contemporary music scene. Located at the western edge of the Beach community, Woodbine Park is situated at the corner
of Northern Dancer Boulevard and Lake Shore Boulevard East The Festiavl then moves to three nights of StreetFest July 26 -28, (featuring more than 50 bands along a 2 kilometer stretch of traffic-free Queen
Street East in the lakeside Beaches community) The festival finishes up with two days of continuous Main Stage concerts at the Beaches' Kew Gardens July 28 & 29.

Canadian bassist Dave Young pays tribute to his long-time friend and collaborator, the legendary Oscar Peterson. The concert features tracks from Young's Juno-nominated CD, Aspects of Oscar, which includes
familiar gems alongside lesser-known material he performed with Peterson over the years. Young is joined by his stellar sidemen: Kevin Turcotte (trumpet), Robi Botos (piano) and Terry Clarke (drums).
