The SummerWorks Canadian Pavilion
SummerWorks, with the support of the Stratford Festival of Canada and in partnership with Harbourfront Centre, is thrilled to unveil the SummerWorks
Canadian Pavilion at the Harbourfront Centre Theatre, widening the scope of the festival by providing a special venue for exciting theatre companies from across Canada for the first time in SummerWorks history.
2b Theatre (Halifax, NS) presents Invisible Atom by Anthony Black, Atomic Vaudeville (Victoria, BC) presents Legoland by Jacob Richmond, Thought Bubble Theatre (Montreal, PQ) presents Baby Making by Jeanie Keogh
and Hair on Fire (Edmonton, AB) presents The Crossroads of Fifth and Madison by Ryan McKinley. A special bus will shuttle back and forth between Factory Theatre and the Harbourfront Centre for the
convenience of festival audiences. The 2006 SummerWorks line-up is eclectic, ranging from site-specific performances by Crippled Toronto, Preface Theatre and Suitcase in Point, to remounted Rhubarb hits such
as The Russian Play and knotty together, to productions by indie theatre companies such as Actors' Repertory Company, Carlos Bulosan Theatre and Modern Times Stage Company and emerging companies such as Belltower,
Unspun Theatre and Anandam; from established theatre artists such as Kate Lynch, Maja Ardal, Kate Hennig, Tom Walmsley, Chaz Lawther, and Linda Griffiths, to solo artists such as Jess Dobkin, and up-and-comers Jason
